Quidditch Trash

You will be hard pressed to find a bigger Harry Potter fan than yours truly. I can't help myself. LOVE IT. I have the books, audio books, and the movies. I will sadly admit I was given a wand for my birthday one year. (What?! It's not like I asked for it. It was thoughtful...) Anywho, even I draw the line well before here. Want to get together in the middle of a college campus with a group of strangers and play Quidditch? Me neither, but if you find someone who does have I got a treat for them! I have questions. What about the snitch? Do you have a tiny winged ball that zooms around the arena? How does the girl in the wheelchair ride her broom? Does she sit in the chair AND on the broom? I was horrified by this poster when I received the photo. I mean after I stopped laughing and was sure I wasn't going to wet myself. I thought this was offensive but I've asked around and it's about 50/50. Yet another gem from Bryn Mawr. Decide for yourself.

Hoard Trash

While I have to thank Other Jeff for this photo, I would like to dedicate this post to my dear friend Jayanna, the only person I know that is more obsessed with hoarders than I am. Jeff also pointed out that the bed of the truck was entirely full. Too bad the phone number on the SALE sign isn't visible.

Dictionary trash

I have been getting the Merriam-Webster Word of the Day for almost two years. There have been some ridiculous words, and some awesome words. I discovered my favorite word of all time using word of the day, but I have also received some e-mails containing words that I don't believe are valid vocabulary builders. (Favorite word = puckish adj. - impish, whimsical. Words that I think could have been skipped are, lollygag, yokel, zany, and wisenheimer) Imagine my dismay when I come across the email from MERRIAM-WEBSTER that contains a word, and then the pronunciation of a totally different word! I love the irony in the two words that are included. I would also like to point out that when I did a spell-check of this document, lollygag, and wisenheimer went unrecognized as words. Total. Dictionary. FAIL.

Pajama Trash

Mike and Jeff found the PERFECT gift for Sam. I am sure this onesie will be seen at many formal events and cause many sweet dreams.

Trash Hunt

This blog has been ignored and I only have myself to blame. I am planning to spend as much time as necessary on a trash hunt this weekend so if anyone knows of an event where there will be a concentration of subjects do share. More to come...

Irony Trash

As we begin our maiden blog, Tiffany and I cannot help but notice the inherant irony in our beginning a blog specifically to make fun of trashy people while out in public dressed like this, stuffing our faces with cake...



Notice, I actually have cake on my boob. Boob cake is DEFINITELY trashy. Also, take in Tiffany's pink pants. She claims they're red but I think she's living in the past. She can't remember how long she's owned them. She's been forbidden to wear them in public and fears their confiscation upon the publication of this post.



The point of Trash Blog is to publicy mock everyone who isn't us. This is essentially what we do on a regular basis, we're just publishing it. Please, submit pictures, signs, whatever. Items may be e-mailed to either Tiffany or me. We want real-life material, things you see around town. For our first post, in the spirit of good sportsmanship, we'll make fun of ourselves.
